Polyframe delighted to be named G Awards 2026 finalist.
Polyframe is absolutely delighted to have been named a finalist for Fabricator of the Year at the G Awards 2026, marking an incredibly proud moment for everyone across the business.
To be recognised alongside some of the UK's leading fabricators is a fantastic achievement, and one that means a great deal to our entire team.
This nomination represents so much more than an industry accolade. It reflects the dedication of our people, significant strategic investment, improvements across our manufacturing operations and the strong partnerships we've continued to build with our customers and suppliers.
Most importantly, it's recognition of the collective effort that has helped shape Polyframe into the business it is today.
Built on investment. Driven by people.
Over recent years, Polyframe has undergone significant transformation, with a clear focus on creating a stronger, more efficient and more dependable manufacturing business.
In 2025, we consolidated production into our high-efficiency manufacturing facility in Lenwade, Norfolk, supported by investment in a new automated welding and cleaning line, upgraded cutting and finishing processes, and enhanced quality control measures. These improvements have strengthened production consistency, increased capacity and improved the quality of our finished products, providing a more reliable manufacturing platform for our trade partners.
Alongside our manufacturing investment, we've restructured key areas of the business, strengthened customer service, improved ordering and communication processes, and developed closer working relationships with our customers and profile suppliers. Every improvement has been made with a shared ambition: to build a business that our customers can rely on, our people can be proud of and our partners can grow alongside.
Stronger partnerships. A shared commitment.
While investment in manufacturing has been fundamental to our progress, we're equally proud of the partnerships we've strengthened along the way. Our relationships with customers have always been central to our business. By listening, improving communication and working more closely together, we've developed a better understanding of what our trade partners need to succeed.
We're also incredibly grateful for the continued support and collaboration of our profile suppliers, REHAU and Eurocell. Their expertise, product innovation and partnership have played an important role in our development, helping us strengthen our offering and provide our customers with quality window and door solutions.
Alongside this, we've invested in improving the way we communicate, both internally and externally, introducing new marketing resources, a refreshed website and more opportunities to engage with our customers. Together, these developments reflect our commitment to being more than a fabricator. We want to be a dependable, collaborative manufacturing partner that helps our customers grow.
A proud moment for the whole team
Elaine Baird, Group Head of Marketing at Polyframe, commented:
"We're absolutely delighted to be named a finalist for Fabricator of the Year. It's an incredibly proud moment for everyone at Polyframe and wonderful recognition of the hard work, dedication and improvements that have taken place across the business. From significant investment in our manufacturing capabilities to strengthening relationships with our customers and valued profile partners, REHAU and Eurocell, we've made real progress in building a stronger business.
"Communication has been a particular focus for us, both internally and externally. We've worked hard to bring our teams closer together, listen to our customers and ensure we're providing the information, resources and support they need. And there's so much more to look forward to. We have some really exciting customer-focused developments planned for 2027, and we're looking forward to sharing more about those in the coming months.
"Whatever happens on the night, this nomination is a fantastic achievement for the whole team, and something we can all be extremely proud of."
Recognition that belongs to everyone
Behind every investment, improvement and successful customer relationship are the people who make Polyframe what it is. From our experienced manufacturing teams and production specialists to customer service, logistics, commercial operations and management, every department has contributed to the progress we've made. Many of our colleagues have dedicated years, and in some cases decades, to the business. Their experience, commitment and willingness to embrace change have been instrumental in helping us move forward.
Manufacturing excellence isn't achieved by one individual or department. It's the result of people working together, supporting one another and sharing a determination to continually improve. This nomination is recognition of that collective effort, and we're immensely grateful for the hard work and dedication shown across the business.
Looking ahead to an even stronger future
As we approach 2027, our focus remains firmly on the future.
With a stronger manufacturing foundation, an expanding product portfolio and exciting customer-focused initiatives on the horizon, we're committed to continuing our investment in the people, products and partnerships that matter most. Our ambition remains clear: to be one of the UK's most reliable, forward-thinking trade fabricators, giving our customers the confidence to grow alongside us.
Whatever happens at the G Awards on Friday 27th November, being named a Fabricator of the Year finalist is already an achievement worth celebrating.
To our incredible colleagues, loyal customers, valued suppliers and industry partners, thank you for being part of our journey. Your commitment, trust and continued support have helped make this moment possible.
We're incredibly proud to stand alongside some of the very best in our industry, and even prouder of the people who have brought us here.
Here's to Team Polyframe, and to everything we're still working towards.
